A Thirsty Shadow

I think you all might have guessed right. Yes this pic represents the shade of the tap in the mid of a day. It gives us a message that if we don't conserve water today, we will have nothing for tomorrow, except a Thirsty Shadow of a tap.

अकेला राही

न अकेला था कभी 

जब साथ थे मेरे कई 

ज़िन्दगी की पहलुओं की 

थी सभी बातें नयी 

क्या पता था कि तभी 

एक मोड़ ऐसा आएगा 

जिसपे मेरा जिस्म

खुद को ही अकेला पायेगा 

उनके वादे थे कई 

जिनमे कि वो कुछ कह गए 

उन वादों क़ी कश्ती में बैठे

हम कोसों पीछे रह गए

सोचा न था मैंने भी कि

एक पल भी ऐसा आयेगा

साथ का मेरा ये साया

ग़ुम कहीं हो जाएगा

अब न किसी का इंतज़ार

ये सोच आगे चल पड़ा

न देखूं रस्ता उसका जो

था साथ मेरे कल खड़ा

न उम्मीदें हैं मुझे

कि साथ कोई आएगा

मीलों सफ़र के बाद फिर

अम्बर नया मिल जाएगा
